The Woodcarver
Sometimes, when you walk about the city, you see special people dotted between the homeless and panhandlers. They have talent -- they are musicians, artists, craftspeople wanting their talents appreciated, aside from their financial circumstances. They do not beg. They may push their wares, but you get something nice in return... This woodcarver is a native Indian from Vancouver, BC. His carvings of traditional totems tells stories. Most of the time he does his carvings on the steps of a park along the Seattle Waterfront not far from the Big Wheel.
